Even Kings Feel Healing Community is a space built for Black men and boys where every feeling is welcomed, every life is valued, and no one has to carry it alone.
For too long, Black men and boys have been told that strength means silence, that to feel is to be weak. We were built to say otherwise.
Even Kings Feel Healing Community is a place rooted in community, led by people who know the pain firsthand, and committed to one thing above all: making sure every man and boy who walks through our doors knows he was already worthy before he arrived.
We offer behavioral health, restorative justice, violence intervention, workforce development, and prevention. Not as separate services, but as one connected path toward healing.
Our programs are not standalone services; they are five interconnected pathways, each one designed to meet people where they are, and walk alongside them toward something better.
Behavioral Health
Therapy, case management, and mentorship rooted in cultural understanding. Mental health care should feel like care, not like a system.
Restorative Justice
Mediation, reentry support, and family healing. Accountability and restoration can coexist, and people deserve the chance to repair and reconnect.
Violence Intervention and Healing Justice
Community-based intervention grounded in lived experience. Because the people closest to the pain have the clearest vision for the solution.
Workforce Development
Skills, voice, and vocation through our Credible Voices and Voices to Vocation programs. Economic dignity is part of healing.
Prevention and Wellness
ELEVATE, Barbershop outreach, and suicide prevention. Wellness is not the absence of struggle; it’s the presence of support.
Since 2016, we have walked alongside Black men, boys, and families navigating trauma, violence, grief, and some of life’s most difficult moments. The numbers tell part of the story, but what we’re most proud of is the moments you can’t count: the first time someone felt safe enough to cry, the circle that changed a young man’s trajectory, and the family that reconnected.
Our doors and our calendar are open. From healing circles to community gatherings, everything we do is built around connection.

The Even Kings Feel app is a daily space to check in with yourself. Journal privately, use tools for when you need to regulate right now, and read a library built around what actually comes up: emotional regulation, trauma and triggers, masculinity and vulnerability, trust, boundaries, and self-worth.
This is not therapy. Nobody sees your journal and nobody grades you. Your entries stay on your device.
There’s a mode for wherever you are, from youth through adult, plus a professional mode for educators, counselors, and credible messengers using it as a facilitation tool.
Healing can be shared. Read perspectives from our team, our partners, and the community we serve

Ten years of this work, what it cost to build, and the moment the name changed.

LaToya Logan joins a City Club of Cleveland forum on youth justice, racial disparity, and what dignity actually looks like.

Ethics is not a rulebook you memorize once. On leadership, outcomes, and what sustainability really means.

Even Kings Feel grew from a simple but radical belief: that Black men deserve spaces where their full humanity is honored. We were born out of Project LIFT Services, a decade of crisis intervention and behavioral health work, and we carry that foundation forward, with a name that matches our mission.
